authorized_url_only_category_ids Controls access to specific categories restricted by URL permissions. Session
authorized_kb_encrypted_url_only Provides access to encrypted knowledge bases through secure, shared links. Session
authorized_url_only_question_id Allows viewing of articles that are accessible only via a direct shareable URL. Session
current_user_language Remembers the language selected by the user to personalize their KB experience. Session
segment_fields Used to retain segmentation preferences and filters within the Helpjuice environment. Permanent (20 years)
user_id Stores the logged-in user's ID to personalize and secure their access to content. Session
last_sign_in Helps Helpjuice remember the user's last login time and preferences. Permanent (20 years)
swifty_ai_user_id Used by Swifty Helpbar or Swifty Chat for session linking and user context. 3 days

Conditional Cookies

Some cookies are only active when their respective features are being used:

  • authorized_url_only_category_ids: Only set if URL-restricted categories are active.
  • authorized_kb_encrypted_url_only: Set when accessing encrypted KBs via secure URLs.
  • authorized_url_only_question_id: Used for articles with shareable links.
  • segment_fields: Only appears when user segmentation is being applied.
  • user_id and last_sign_in: Only used if the user is logged into the KB.
  • swifty_ai_user_id: Only active if Swifty features are enabled and the user is logged in.
