When creating documentation that needs to include both public and internal information, you can use internal blocks to restrict certain content to team members only. This feature allows you to maintain a single source of documentation while controlling which sections are visible to different audiences.

To add an internal-only section to your article:

  1. Open the article editor
  2. Click the "Insert Block" button in the toolbar
  3. Select "Internal Block" from the options
  4. Add your internal content within the block

When viewing the article:

  • Team members will see the internal blocks clearly marked as restricted content
  • External users will not see any content within internal blocks
  • The rest of the article remains publicly accessible

Internal blocks are ideal for adding:

  • Team-specific instructions
  • Internal process details
  • Private troubleshooting notes
  • Sensitive information that shouldn't be public

This approach eliminates the need to maintain separate internal and external versions of the same documentation, making it easier to keep all information up-to-date in one place.
