Introduction to the Visual Editor

The Visual Editor allows you to customize the appearance of your Knowledge Base without touching any code. It’s designed to make common visual changes simple and accessible - whether you're updating colors, hiding sections, or reorganizing your homepage layout.

You can preview changes in real time and safely make adjustments without affecting the live version until you're ready to save. The editor is organized by page type (e.g., homepage, article page), so you can quickly find the section you want to edit. FAQS

Available Options

In the Visual Editor, you can:

• Change fonts, font sizes, and text colors
• Adjust backgrounds, images, and theme colors
• Upload or update your logo and hero image
• Show or hide sections like:
  • Followed Articles
  • Popular Topics
  • Recently Updated
  • Useful Links
• Edit section titles and labels (e.g., “Popular Topics”)
• Manage link lists displayed on the homepage or other pages

As you browse each section in the editor, only customizable components will appear - making it easier to focus on what you can control.

Missing Sections

If a section is not available in the Visual Editor, it may not be configured for visual customization in your current theme. In many cases, we can enable support for that section through a Customization Request .
